Addressing the Suffering Inflicted by Clergy Abuse

Important Announcement

An open letter to the Faithful from The Most Reverend Joseph V. Brennan.

Bishop Joseph V. Brennan has announced that the Diocese of Fresno will file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to address the numerous claims of clergy abuse, ensuring fair compensation for victims while continuing diocesan operations. This decision follows a significant rise in claims due to recent changes in California law. The Diocese remains committed to creating a safe environment and supporting abuse survivors.
