Junior High Youth Ministry

EDGE is a Junior High Youth Ministry for all 7th and 8th graders.

Wednesday Evenings from October - April | 6:45pm - 8:00pm

At EDGE, our first priority is to bring our young Catholics closer to Christ.

We do this by:

  • Providing space for big questions and looking to the Church for answers.

  • Facilitating prayer experiences

  • Learning about our faith

  • Having fun together and making new friends!

Junior High Sacrament Preparation

Junior High BAPTISM

Students in grades 7-8, who are seeking the Sacrament of Baptism, will enter a two year baptism program. After the completion of two years of preparation, they will receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation.

Year 1 Requirements:

  • Weekly Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation Mass Attendance with Weekly Mass Journal

  • Weekly Attendance at EDGE, our Junior High Youth Ministry on Wednesdays at 6:45pm

  • Year One Cost: $50 for Registered Parishioners / $100 for Non-Registered Parishioners

Year 2 Requirements:

  • Weekly Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation Mass Attendance with Weekly Mass Journal

  • Weekly Attendance at EDGE, our Junior High Youth Ministry on Wednesdays at 6:45pm

  • Starting in January, Weekly Attendance at an additional class 5:45pm-6:45pm directly before EDGE

  • Year Two Cost: $100 for Registered Parishioners / $150 for Non-Registered Parishioners

Junior High FIRST COMMUNION

Students in grades 7-8, who are seeking the Sacrament of Communion. After the completion of two years of preparation, they will receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.

  • Weekly Attendance at EDGE, our Junior High Youth Ministry on Wednesdays at 6:45pm
